37 weeks 3 days....growing, growing, growing!

Here is my belly from Wednesday (37+3)...

I am now 37+5..holy crap...no big labour signs as yet...discomfort yes but signs no...

I think the clairvoyant mum at school missed the mark, I don't think bub will be a Feb one (well unless I go into labour very soon anyway, lol. Our friends (due March1st) did have their little girl on the 28th Feb which makes it all very real..I am next...eeek.

Still a week till my next middie appointment..I am impatient and I am not sure why, maybe I am just generally impatient to have bub in my arms.

Midwife Appt.

I trotted off to the middie today....all appears wonderfully boring...

Fundal height is 37cms (I am 36+4 today), bubs is head down and low, my BP was 100/50 and bubs heart rate was 130bpm which is the lowest it has ever been (generally it is 140-150)....I think he is getting ready, he has the hiccups a lot lately.

I declined the weekly appointments and have made another for 2 weeks time (Thursday 6th of March) I will be 38+4..........will bub arrive before then? time will tell hey ........I get the feeling he is very happy in there at the moment, he still has quiet large movements and I know my belly can get much bigger as I was so much bigger with Nate. I guess if he doesnt I will have another appt. at 39+4....or maybe hold off till 40weeks exactly, that way I can go in on a weekend without the kids or with DH and all the kids.

I just think the he will come before EDD but in a way it would be nice to go over and see what size baby I could have.....I am sure that sounds silly to those who have gone over before, lol, but I have never experienced it so would kinda like to..

36 Weeks

Just a picture of my 36 week belly......

I am feeling really good...mostly anyway....I get painful stabbing pains down my cervix sometimes and the braxton hicks are like period pains in the night...heres hoping they are softening things as they go..

A clairvoyant told me yesterday that she thinks I only have 1.5 weeks to go which makes baby a Feb baby, not too sure about that but I do think he will come before his EDD.

I made him a couple of bamboo nappies on the weekend...I will take pictures if I remember too, lol.

34 weeks 3 days

Can you believe that I am here already!!! The count down is really on now...5 weeks 4 days till my EDD...I have never gone over so it will be interesting to see when this one decides to arrive. So far they have arrived at 38+2, 39+6 and 38+6....any guesses? DH seems to think 39 weeks this time...me...well I just know that he has to come out my VJJ and it is scaring me a bit, lol.

I had an ultrasound yesterday...it was very quick and I didn't get any pictures I'm afraid...but we have established that the placenta has stretched up and is now out of the way YAY! and that bubs has moved back into the head down position, in fact he was so head down they couldnt see all of it and couldnt see my cervix/birth canal. They guesstimated his weight at 6lbs (by measuring his head/tummy and leg bones)....based on my others this seems a little high but it is just a guess after all. I think the weight is because his head and tummy were measuring 36 weeks.

Here is a shot of my belly today.

On the weekend we picked up our new (second hand) car! I am very happy and so much more comfortable putting the kids in it. DH put in some marine carpet to protect the back from the kids and once I get the anchor bolt put in the boot B will move to the back next to L and bub and N will go in the 2nd row. Heres a shot of the interior.

Babies nappies have been washed again and are ready to go.....I am planing on making some more..hopefully I can cut out this week and sew next.

NB Nappies ...... Small Nappies ..... OSFM

NB Covers .... Small Covers .... Bubs NB Shorties and a body suit I couldnt resist :)
